Thunder Child Statistics

Note: This section deals with converting your ship to Pirate’s Cove standards.

Ship Type = Sailing Ship, 3 Masts 30’ by 100’
Sails = 5 Maximum 9
Crew = 2
Artillery = 1 Maximum 10
Cargo = 7 Maximum 15

Improvements: You can make by sailing to the correct shop and spending 100x in gold of the improvement price listed on the ship card.

Crew: Minimum to sail the open seas is 20 members, or a crew of 2 on the ship card. With fewer crew you’re stuck raiding fishing villages for crew.

Artillery: You currently have two ballistae which require a dedicated crew of two. In order to maximize your artillery score, with ballistae, you would need to carry 20 members dedicated to firing, while another 20 sailed the ship.
Up to 20 Large direct-fire siege engines in banks of 10 positioned on the port and starboard sides of the ship, or up to six Huge direct-fire siege engines in banks of three on the port and starboard sides of the ship. These siege engines may only fire out the sides of the ship that they are positioned on and cannot fire toward the forward or aft sides of the ship.
In addition, up to two Large or one Huge direct-fire or indirect-fire siege engine may be positioned on both the forecastle and stern castle of the ship. These siege engines can be swiveled to fire out the sides of the ship or either forward or aft, depending on their position. These really do not factor into our current ship combat system.

Cargo: You can hold up to 150 tons/120 passengers provided you maximize your ship. Each point of Cargo is equal to a point of plunder. For every 10 passengers or 15 crew or 20 slaves you lose an amount of space equal to 1 cargo.

Magical Enhancements: Will be considered on an individual basis.
